Our School

The Chatterbox is a small, privately-run business in Nyon, Switzerland, that specializes teaching English to children and adults. We offer English language training and creative activities in a variety of formats: Group English Classes, Private English Lessons, Holiday Workshops, and English-in-action activities.

Our Approach

Our philosophy is that learning can and should be a fun and creative process but one that is guided by sound pedagogic principles.

We use the Oxford University Press Family and Friends and inSight curriculums for our regular schedule of classes during the school year.

Private and on-line lessons can also be tailored to suit individual needs.

English-in-action classes offer students an opportunity to practice English while learning music or art.

We also offer creative and cultural Holiday Workshops during the summer and academic year.

Our students range in age from 4-6 years for our holiday workshops and from 4 years to adults for our English classes. Given our location in Nyon, in the heart of the Swiss Lake Geneva region, our students represent a diverse range of cultures and nationalities.

Our staff consists of highly-qualified experienced teachers with university degrees in English, Art, Music, and other subjects.
